Paul Simon/Bob Dylan : De Boxer
Er werd beweerd dat de songtekst van “The Boxer” van Paul Simon een aanval was op Bob Dylan. Dylan op zijn beurt nam de song op voor zijn “Self Portret” album, waarbij het woord “glove” verving door “blow”.

“Hurricane” van Dylan is een protestsong over Rubin Carter, een bokser die onterecht (vanwege zijn huidskleur) is veroordeeld voor moord.
If the boxer ,taking the count, is still down when the referee calls the count of ten , the referee shall wave both arms indicating that the boxer has been knocked out.
